It looks like Kate Middleton and Prince William will get some much needed respite from the press during an upcoming trip to Southeast Asia: People Magazine is reporting the pair will spend one night at luxurious island hideaway on the Solomon Islands,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. It's being dubbed the pair's "second honeymoon."
The visit to the private island of Tavanipupu will happen at the end of their upcoming Royal tour of Asia -- a trip that will see them visit places like Singapore, Malaysia and Borneo. The trip will mark Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee.
Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Cambridges' spokesman, says the Queen plotted out the couple's itinerary herself (including the relaxing stay in Tavanipupu). According to USA Today: "The Queen personally chose their itinerary. At every stop,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], they will attend receptions, state dinners and cultural performances,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], visit schools, factories, villages and war memorials, explore the wildlife,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], eat native dishes and sleep in luxurious surroundings. [The Duke of Cambridge] will deliver brief remarks occasionally; [the Duchess Of Cambridge] will do so once, at a hospice, one of her charity specialities."
The trip -- and second honeymoon -- come as speculation on whether the Royal couple will produce an heir increases. Photos were recently published of a possible "Kate baby bump,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]." While legal experts say there are reasons the pair are waiting to get pregnant.
