McQ by Alexander McQueen always produces a full range clothing but one item that is often over looked is the footwear and that is a shame because the range is full of exciting and interesting shoes,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
This year collection consists of five shoes with only one of them coming in two colour ways. First of all we have the very well made high top sneaker which this year has been finished in black. The toe on this shoe is reminiscent of an Adidas shell toed Superstar,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but with a minimal edge. All you can see is the faint ridges across the toe boax which gives the shoe its shape. The toe box has been finished in matt black leather which contrasts the black suede sides perfectly,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], on the side you will find the McQ logo stamped in to the leather. Around the ankle of the shoe there is some patent leather padding which again sets the shoe off very well.
Another shoe from this years range is the low top version of the above mentioned trainer,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the low version has been finished in leather and the McQ logo has been stamped in gold on the side. The leather they have chosen for this shoe comes in a choice of colours,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], black and white. The leather is also slightly textured which adds a little touch of luxury to the whole shoe.
Coming next is the McQ floral print plimsolls,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], these shoes compliment the floral shirt which has also came out of this years collection. Finished in white canvas they have the floral print coming upwards up from the sole and wrapping it self all over the toe box. The shoes are slightly elasticated on the sides for a comfortable fit, these shoes are perfect for day use in a casual office or they are perfect for adding a little style to you feet while you are pottering around the city.
The above plimsolls also come in this years bird pattern,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], these shoes are exactly the same as the ones out lined above apart from the print. The bird print is a little more subtle which make them an easier wear,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but they are still perfect for the office or the city.
The last shoes from this years collection are the white gimped loafers,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], these McQ shoes are as much forward thinking as they are traditional. The traditional part comes in the shape,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], they are a classic heavy soled loafer ready for every day use. But the more contemporary edge come from the fact that they have been finished in a pure white colour way. McQ trainers are well worth a look if you are looking to up your footwear collection this year.
