RESTON, Va.,[url=http://www.fbrecs.com/]Jimmy Choo Sale[/url], Feb. 12 () -- A contract modification from the U.S. Naval Air Systems Command has been given to Rolls-Royce to manufacture additional engines for V-22 aircraft.Under the modification, worth $83.7 million, Rolls-Royce will produce AE 1107 C engines for 19 V-22s operated by the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Air Force."This contract demonstrates the trust the U.S. Marine Corps and Air Force have in the Rolls-Royce AE 1107C engines, which power their V-22 fleets," said Tom Bell, Rolls-Royce' president of Defense."Delivering reliable power is our constant focus at Rolls-Royce and we are dedicated to keeping those fleets mission ready for our customers."The Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey is a tilt-rotor troop and cargo transport with vertical takeoff and landing and short takeoff and landing capabilities. It has a maximum speed of 351 miles per hour at 15,000 feet, a range of 897 nautical miles and a combat radius of 390 nautical miles.Rolls-Royce said the engines will be manufactured in Indianapolis.
