"Ouch!" The boy shouted, crying [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] out loud with his tonsils out wiggling. At his age of twelve it looks like he has been hurt badly by the hit of the paintball pellet shot by one of his classmates when they had their field trip in a Paintball Arena. It looks as though he felt pain the moment it hit him by the sound of his voice and the way it got him so mad about that other boy.
But on second look, I can sense that it was just an overreaction. Some boys, same age as his, enjoy getting hit by the paintball. And then [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] I realized that there must be an earlier reason that led to this incident. He looks more [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] angry [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] than hurt. I observed. After the game the boy who cried went out wearing now his school uniform. He looked neat in it. He has no friends. He looks snobby and he seems like a spoiled brat. And then came the boy who hit him with a paintball pellet who has many friends. He ran after the cry baby and said sorry. They walked hand in hand outside the Arena.
I would like to conclude that they are on to a very wonderful friendship after the incident. Imagine how things work. Children's innocent perceptions can change the world. Sometimes we have to compromise in order to gain friends. Paintball is about getting the flag of the opponent or whatever the set up of the game is. It is really about hitting your opponents to defend yourself and your team. It is about winning the battle.
So why ask for an apology when it is the rule of the game? [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] Is there a point? Yes, there is. And this boy showed humility. The battle of the two teams end after taking off the all-soaked-up Ghillie suits and after [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] coming out of the battle field. Sometimes it doesn't really matter who committed the mistake, the humble will always find his way to ask [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] for an apology. If I was the mother of that boy, I will be the happiest proud Mom, ever. And the boy has no idea of what [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] he has done.
I am so happy to find out that silly stories, such as this, [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] show deeper values if we would only look deeper into it. Who would expect that children's petty fights would bring about realizations that could help make better people for our world? Huh?! Sometimes we have to look at little good deeds and magnify it to make us more appreciative of life. Like kids, we [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] should be happy in the simplest of things and we will be surprised to find out that there is so much more to life. Let us all bring out the child in [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] us. We are not supposed to act as if we are "somebody" or we are "bigger" or we "know better". [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] We are not bigger than our world, stay honest, friendly, loving and most of all humble.
