Charity Surf Skate Auction kicks off Venice Art Walk on Friday,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]
The 34th annual Venice Art Walk Auctions begins Friday having a free community event which includes an exhibition and silent auction of custom skate decks and surfboards embellished by local tattoo artists,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
Presented by Quiksilver's new 585 Boardriders concept store,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the second annual Surf Skate Auction event will include music,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], refreshments and meet-and-greets with assorted artists.
Attendees will also have the chance to invest in one-of-a-kind creations designed from used,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], recycled and re-created skate decks and custom-shaped and "tatted" surfboards by a lot more than 70 artists,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], including surfboard shapers Jeffrey Sudzin,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Dan Cobley and Jose Barahona; surfboard tattoo artists (we honestly didn know this even existed) Charly Reynoso,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Big Boy,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Juan "Ente" Gollaz,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Show,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Justin Jakus and Tyoni Aragon; Quiksilver surfboard artist Kristi McKnight; DC Shoes skate designer Mark Winn and DC Shoes photographer and video producer Tobin Yelland.
