Giants coach Tom Coughlin says he's 'incredibly proud' of Victor Cruz

The man spoke to the receptionist. He wanted to leave a message telling Cruz how touched he was to learn Cruz had visited the Pinto family Tuesday, two days after taking the field against the Atlanta Falcons with notes in honor of his "hero" Pinto on his cleats.
The man from Ohio is one of many who have reached out to the Giants via phone calls, e-mails and social media to express admiration and gratitude for what Cruz has done for the family of one of his biggest fans.
Giants coach Tom Coughlin, who prides himself on the charity work he does via his Jay Fund for the families of cancer-stricken children and other outlets ?? also is touched by Cruz's gestures.
"Incredibly proud of what he's done,[url=http://duveticapiumini.olimx.com/][b]duvetica jackets shop[/b][/url]," Coughlin said Wednesday. "That family will remember that all their days. And hopefully some of their grief might at least temporarily be spent in being able to embrace Victor Cruz. The fact that he went and did that speaks volumes about what he has inside."
When asked about the family's decision to bury the child in Cruz's jersey, the wide receiver's eyes grew misty.
"You never go through some circumstances like this," he said Wednesday. "This was definitely the toughest by far.
"I was a little nervous. I didn't know how I was going to be received," Cruz added. "Going through something like that, you never know how it's going to go down. Once I got there and saw the kids there with my jersey on, the family was outside, they were still pretty emotional, crying and stuff like that, I saw how affected they were just by my presence alone.
"I got out there with my cleats and gloves. I proceeded to sign stuff for the kids, go inside and just spend some quality time with them."

We got to smile a little bit, which was good for them.
