ALFRED, Maine Four people who police say are connected with a burglary ring in York County are behind bars,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], police said Monday.
Arrested were Justin Burleigh, 25,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], of York; Paul Kastberg,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], 25, of Alfred; Michael Zaetz, 23, of New Hampshire; and Heather Laroche, 23, also from New Hampshire.
A dozen burglaries have occurred over the last month in the towns of Shapleigh, Newfield, Waterboro and Alfred, with a large number of items, such as TVs,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], gaming systems,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], drugs and electronic equipment,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], being stolen, according to a news release from state police spokesman Stephen McCausland.
"In addition, police have also seized thousands of dollars' worth of new clothing, sunglasses and sneakers believed taken from outlet stores in Kittery,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]," the release said.
All of the stolen items have been recovered from a house in Shapleigh, and police also seized 10 grams of heroin, according to the release.
All four suspects were taken to the York County Jail. Burleigh is facing a burglary charge. Laroche was wanted on heroin and cocaine charges in New Hampshire. Kastberg was charged with not paying previous fines, and Zaetz is charged with violating his probation.
