One was a beauty and fashion book by journalist Tara King, the other a journey through breast cancer by young mother Cathy McCarthy, who was diagnosed in 2007. All the information in this book is thoroughly researched. It's a compelling read that gives great insight into the experience of living through diagnosis and treatment. It's practical,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], honest and inspirational. It's a treasure chest of DIY miracle remedies for everyday beauty dilemmas.
From using cola as a conditioner to the wonders of cold milk, there seems to be an answer to every beauty need here. As well as this she has dreamt up some wonderful storage solutions and has numerous pages dedicated to embellishing fabrics such as T-shirts and the like. There is some great stuff on customizing shoes,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], which every shoe-loving girl will adore! Loads of visuals in this glossy tome make it a great read offering superb value.
