You might like to visit the Holy Trinity church. As well as being the final resting place of William Shakespeare and Anne Hathaway, this 13th century church has a rich history of its own. There was a church built on the banks of the river Avon previously and is mentioned in historical documents dating from 845AD. The Holy Trinity church was built in 1210 and is built from limestone and has had many modifications over the centuries including a magnificent stain [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] glass window which was a gift from the American people and installed in the 20th century.
For even more culture and history, a visit to the Stratford Armories is not to be missed. There are several galleries dedicated to different exhibitions including The [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] Indian Gallery which contains many unique [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] artifacts including a set of full size elephant armour. There is The Globe Gallery which contains artifacts of war from all over the world. There are many works of art to enjoy as well, so there is plenty to see here.
