I am a Java developer,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but I have been out of the web design coding for a while. I merely don't have much time and that i wish to build a simple website that gets most of its content from a Zoho Creator DB using Zoho's REST API. I want complete control over the HTML,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], so website builders that don't let me edit the header/footer aren't any good. I'd rather not use Zoho for the presentation layer - I'm attempting to be cheap to ensure that I only have to register one user for access to the Creator DB. I am also wanting so that it is free or very cheap to host,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and that i have to be capable of giving it my own domain name,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], not subject the rules of online website builders. I would like to have the ability to leverage HTML 5 canvas capabilities. The website can be really small - probably not a lot more than 5 pages. Finally,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I have very little knowledge about Javascript,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], so I will require (probably graphical) tools that helped me to using the processing and display of the RESTful service responses.
If you were in my shoes and time was very limited,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], what approach would you take? I'm certain I could code it myself,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but can there be an "assembly" option that might be much faster? I hope so.
