WASHINGTON, Aug. 16 () -- U.S. regulators said that Applica Consumer Products is recalling about 641 coffee makers, called Spacemakers, due to problems with coffee pot handles.The handles can break, possibly leading to a laceration or a burn, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said in a Thursday release.The coffee makers are called Spacemaker, because they can be mounted under a cabinet.
