Stone Thrown From SPIDER MAN's Death Bridge? We all know that actress Emma Stone is currently filming her role as Gwen Stacy in Marc Webb's new Spider Man movie. And we also know that that character meets a tragic end in the comics as Green Goblin throws her off of New York City's George Washington Bridge, only to have her neck snapped when Spider Man tries to snare her with his web.
A very tweaked version of that scene played out in Sam Raimi's original Spider Man movie, but don't expect to see in the new one. Aside from the fact that the Green Goblin doesn't appear, Stone also told Jay Leno on the Tonight Show (via The Film Stage) that she's in the franchise for the long haul.
"There a few [Spider Man movies], so I may have to keep at it for a couple of years, Stone told Leno.
Garfield Talks SPIDER MANAndrew Garfield recently chatted with The Guardian and gave them a bit of an update on Spider Man. The audio interview can be found at the Guardian website, but transcribed quotes were provided by Heat Vision.
Garfield reports that he's worked on the film for about two weeks before the holiday break. Then he's in for the longest shoot of his career so far. "The Social Network took four months to shoot but I was kind of in and out; I wasn't there every single day," he said. "But with this, christian louboutin pas cher, I'm going to have to hibernate into this character for at least four or five months."
He also said the new costume makes him feel like a kid in pajamas, though he wouldn't talk about the design of it.
"I can only say how it feels and it feels pretty special. It feels like a dream realized and a fantasy realized," he added. "I don't take it lightly and I feel incredibly lucky that I get to wear spandex for the next few months."
As far as training goes, the 27 year old Garfield talked about the difficult balance between portraying an awkward teenager and a superhero.
"I think Spider Man needs strength, but Peter Parker is still a teenager, you know? That's a very tender balance to figure out," he said. "It's very specific what we're trying to achieve in terms of body type and the feeling of that. Rest assured, there's a lot of people who are helping me with it because I have no discipline in that respect. My father's a swimming coach and I kind of rebelled against that very, very early on so any form of physical discipline has to be really cracked with a really smart whip."

C2F Quick Hits Radar Online says that Disney princess Demi Lovato is "up for a role" in The Avengers.
A fan scooper for Comic Book Movie says his high school, St. John Bosco in Bellflower California, has been redecorated in anticipation of shooting Marc Webb's Spider Man movie there. Specifically, chaussures nike free pas cher, the gym was repainted with a new logo for "MSHS". They've even got pictures of the school's basketball panther mascot. Superhero Hype has some scans from the Dutch Magazine Veronica which has a report from the set of Captain America: The First Avenger. They're not terribly exciting but click through if you want to have a look.

AVENGERS To Feature Kree/Skrull War?Ain't it Cool points out a newspaper article which either tips a major story point for Marvel's Avengers movie, or simply amplifies a rumor that's gone round the net in the past.
According to an AICN reader, The Albuquerque Journal reported the following about the movie, which was announced last week to be calling New Mexico it's primary filming location:
"The Avengers script will blend Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America: The First Avenger story lines as the Avengers battle with two alien races, the Skrulls and the Kree."
The Kree and Skrulls are, of course, chaussure louboutin femme, Marvel's two most dominant alien races who are ever at war with one another. In the comics, basket louboutin pas cher, The Avengers were draw into the conflict during Roy Thomas' much loved "Kree Skrull War" storyline from the early seventies.
Now,escarpin louboutin pas cher, this bit of info about the movie was expunged from the online version of the article, soldes louboutin, but at least on AICN reader has sent in a scan of the newspaper clipping to verify that it appeared in the printed edition.
So what does this mean? Did a reporter for the ABQ Journal learn something about Joss Whedon's script that the major movie news outlets didn't know? It's possible that some contact at Marvel let something slip, escarpins louboutin.
Another equally likely possibility is that the mention is simply the result of sloppy research on the part of the newspaper reporter, who picked up Kree/Skrull rumors from the internet rumor mill and is just regurgitating it.
Marvel has stated initially that actor Tom Hiddleston will reprise his role as Loki in the movie, converse solde, though it was never stated that he's the primary villain of the piece. It seems unlikely to us that the movie, air max pas cher, ambitious as it already is, would pull something as complex as the Kree/Skrull war into the mix.
On the other hand, if they're using The Ultimates as a guide (as they seem to be in certain aspects of the movie),air jordan 4, the first storyline from that featured an invasion by aliens called the Chitauri (not the Skrulls) but had the same shape shifting abilities.
What do you think, Maniacs? Would you want to see the Kree/Skrull conflict showcased in The Avengers.
Rob M. Issue 4 arrives in stores January 5th . Issue 1 is also available as a digital download via iVerse Media's iTunes app. Makes sense to me. I don't want to see a boring repeat of Thor and Captain America in the Avengers movie with them fighting Earth based villains. I hope they go hard and do the Kree/Skrull War.
That was one good thing that came out of the Raimi movies; the shot the Goblin throwing Spidey's love interest off of the bridge wad. They take a seminal moment from Spider Man and just give it a glancing treatment, air jordan 6, basically ruining for anyone who follows, and, safeguarding later incarnations of Gwen Stacy from meeting the same fate. Fools.
I think they can give the Kree Skrull thing a glancing treatment, in that the war overlaps onto earth and the Avengers have to defend the planet. They don't necessarily have to provide any resolution to the war and thus leave it open for ongoing and later treatment. I just wonder if they will encounter a certain Captain Mar Vell? All this being said, I echo violator14, I'll believe it when I see it.
