Analyst lifts Nike price target,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]
NEW YORK analyst raised her price target for Nike Inc. on Wednesday,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], saying the world's biggest athletic shoe and clothing company is getting a revenue lift from emerging markets,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], price increases and new footwear innovations.
Kate McShane of Citi Investment Research also added the Beaverton,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Ore.,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], company to Citi's Top Picks Live! list.
In a client note,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the analyst said that Nike likely saw better-than-expected business in Europe during the second quarter based. She cited rival Foot Locker Inc.'s report of positive European results last month and the report by Adidas of wholesale and retail sales increases for Europe in its third quarter.
Nike is also poised to capitalize on its Chinese Converse license next year,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], McShane said.
