Arizona State men aspire to join women with indoor track title,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]

LSU has won the women's indoor title 11 times and in 2004 swept both women's and men's indoor championships. Nobody has done that since,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but Arizona State, LSU and Tennessee are all expected presents itself the standings in both competitions a few days ago.
Arizona State's contingent includes 11 women and 10 men. Probably the most decorated Sun Devil is senior Jacquelyn Johnson, who will try to win the pentathlon for a third consecutive year.
Arizona State won last year's title with 38 points, the fewest by a winning team in the women's indoor championships since 1986.
"I don't think it'll come as cheap as it did this past year," Kraft said. "I think it'll be a significant score to win."
The men's levels of competition are envisioned having an extremely balanced field.
"It could be the lowest winning scoring total of all-time," Kraft said. "If someone gets hot, I don't know if it's going to take a lot to win it."
Florida State's Walter Dix will try for his third consecutive indoor title at 200 meters. Spiller.
Texas is considered a darkhorse within the race for that men's title. The Longhorns set an American record in the distance medley relay recently.
Texas Tech's Sally Kipyego returns to protect her 2007 titles within the 3,000 and 5,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],000.
Arkansas' men are traditionally strong in the distance events,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and also the Razorbacks have three athletes scheduled to run in the 5,000. The Hogs also hope to earn some points in the sprints, with J-Mee Samuels entered in the 60 and 200.
"We've were built with a very good year, considering the way we started out. We weren't excellent at the beginning of the season," Arkansas coach John McDonnell said. "I'm still unsure how good we are,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but we'll find out (Friday) and subsequently day."
Arkansas, which has won the wedding 19 times, tied for seventh in 2007, its worst finish since 1981. Still, McDonnell's peers expect his team to become ready - especially in your own home.
